Biography

Dr Lai-Yang Lee graduated with her medical degree from the University of Western Australia. Following initial residencies in Adelaide, she undertook further training in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology, firstly in Adelaide and then moving to Melbourne and working at Monash Medical Centre as well as DOR Pathology.

Dr Lee obtained her Fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists from Australasia in 2015 and in 2016 moved to the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital whilst maintaining her ties with Monash Health. She joined DOR Pathology in 2017. Dr Lee sits on a number of committees at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital including the Infection Prevention & Control Committee, Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and Pandemic Planning Committee.
