Dr Wei Wei Yong

Dr Wei Wei Yong is an anatomical pathologist currently undertaking a full time locum role reporting complex surgical cases, routine biopsies and cytopathology focused on breast pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, gynaecological (include gynae-oncology) pathology, lung pathology and dermatopathology, as well as other areas. Dr Yong has also had a wide range of exposure to various fields including perinatal autopsies, head and neck, hepatobiliary and urological pathology. She represents her department in on-site and remote lung oncology, thoracic, colorectal and breast pathology multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs), participates in the departmental frozen section service, weekly review meetings and QAP submissions.

Dr Wei Wei Yong has been involved in a range of research and audit projects and is actively engaged in the education of Anatomical Pathology registrars.
