The Mantoux test is a skin test used to detect tuberculosis (TB) infection by injecting a small amount of tuberculin under the skin and measuring the reaction 48-72 hours later.
This test is only performed at selected Collection Centres. Please phone your nearest Dorevitch Pathology Collection Centre for information regarding this test as an appointment is required.
The test involves an injection in your forearm.
You MUST return to the same Dorevitch Pathology collection centre between 48 and 72 hours (3 days). We will then complete the test and send a report to your doctor.
